A Report on the Growing South Asia Mobile Market, Including Forecasts to 2010, and a Breakdown by Country & Operator

DUBLIN, Ireland--(Business Wire)--
Research and Markets
(http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/026eb6/3q08_south_asia_mo)
has announced the addition of IE Market Research Corp.'s new report
"3Q08 South Asia Mobile Forecast, 2008 - 2010 " to their offering.

This South Asia Mobile Forecast provides over 65 operational and
financial metrics for wireless markets across South Asia. We cover
quarterly historical data starting in 4Q2003 and ending in 4Q2007. We
also provide four-year forecasts at the operator level. Our South Asia
Aggregation contains separate data for 3 countries and their mobile
operators (15 operators in total). Our Mobile Forecasts are updated
quarterly and are available for one-time delivery or through regular
updates.

Through IEMR's custom-designed spreadsheets you can select
specific metrics and customize the results based on country or
operator. The operator data table can also be used for instant access
to operators by Country or all together. A set of charts will also be
created automatically based on your selections for the first 6 data
entries of each table. This allows for quick access to desired data,
saving the time typically wasted scrolling through the data and
allowing for comparisons across countries and operators. This regional
forecast also has the added function of charting all 65 operational
and financial metrics for a single country simply by selecting it from
a drop down menu.

Notable highlights of the 3Q08 South Asia Mobile Forecast include:

-- South Asia will continue to be home to some of the fastest
growing wireless markets in the world. We continue to believe
that fastest growing wireless market in the world from 2008 -
2010 by subscribers will be India. The number of subscribers
in India will increase from our projected 332.3 million in
2008 to 532.8 million in 2010. India has replaced the United
States as the second largest wireless market in the world
        after China in 2008.

-- South Asia will also continue to be home to some of the lowest
wireless service charges in the world. We continue to expect
Pakistan to have the lowest ARPU levels in the world.
Operator-wide ARPU levels in Pakistan will be US$ 2.83 in
2010. In 2010, we are forecasting that Warid in Pakistan will
have the lowest ARPU in the world of only US$ 1.97 per month.
