Investors Conference

    CARLYSS, La., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Industries, Ltd.
(Nasdaq: GLBL) announced today that it will participate in the Raymond James &
Associates 29th Annual Institutional Investors Conference March 2-5, 2008.
The Conference is being held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando,
Florida.  B. K. Chin, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, will
make a presentation on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 8:40 a.m. EST.  Copies of the
slide presentation will be posted on the Company's website following the
event.
