Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) and Integrated Materials, Inc. (IMI) Announce Joint Strategic Marketing Alliance ProgramTOKYO--(Business Wire)--Tokyo Electron Limited (TEL) and Integrated Materials, Inc. (IMI)announced plans to jointly promote their most advanced furnace systemsand SiFusion(TM) furnace consumables. Under this agreement, TEL designates IMI as a strategic suppliermaking IMI products as its preferred furnace consumables and has anexclusive right to use IMI's SiFusion(TM) 100% pure poly siliconfurnace consumables for LPCVD Poly applications. It is expected thatIMI's SiFusion(TM) products will enable customer to improve TCO (TotalCost of Ownership) by reducing preventive maintenance (PM) cycles, andcleaning costs, while increasing furnace availability. IMI'sproprietary SiFusion(TM) surfaces allow TEL furnace systems toaccumulate 5 to 20 times more Poly LPCVD film deposition before a PM.
