Ford Launches National Sweepstakes for Independent Installers and Body Shops

DEARBORN, Mich., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Ford Customer Service Division
has introduced the "2008 Summer of Savings," a national program exclusively
for independent auto repair and body shops.
    The "2008 Summer of Savings" offers valuable rebate offers during two
redemption periods.  The first promotional period, known as "Qualifying I" is
open from April 1 to May 31, 2008.  The second promotional period, "Qualifying
II" is open from July 1 to August 31, 2008. Each promotional period consists
of multiple rebate offers. More information and instructions to download the
rebate book electronically can be found at http://www.2008SummerofSavings.com.
    Participants will have a chance to win one of five (5) trips for two to
the Ford 400 race during Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway
and other races.  Participants will also have a chance to win one of twenty-
one (21) trips for two to the Wood Brothers Racing facility in Charlotte, NC.
    One winner from each promotional period will have their independent auto
repair or auto body shop's name on the #21 Motorcraft(R) Ford Fusion during a
2008 race.
    The "2008 Summer of Savings" is the evolution of the "When It Fits, You
Win" Sweepstakes held in 2006 and 2007.  "This year's program offers increased
value," said Dan Bielik, Ford Customer Service Division Wholesale
Communications and Training Manager.  "Summer of Savings offers up to
$1,500.00 in rebate savings for every participating business."
    Eligible businesses that submit valid rebate offers are automatically
entered for a chance to win one of the prizes for each promotional period.
