Synchronica plc (''Synchronica'' or ''the Company''): Expansion Order from #1 Mobile Operator in Russia

ROYAL TUNBRIGE WELLS, England--(Business Wire)--
Synchronica, a leading provider of synchronisation and push email
solutions for mobile operators and device manufacturers, is pleased to
report it has received an order for US$730,000 from MTS. MTS is the
largest mobile operator in Russia and the CIS and was acquired as a
customer through the all share purchase of Axis Mobile Ltd. The
purchase order is for an initial expansion phase and is expected to be
followed by a further, larger expansion order for a second phase.

The new contract is divided into two phases: the first will
provide mobile email for MTS subscribers in the Moscow area, while
phase two rolls-out across the whole of Russia and the CIS making the
service available to MTS's 84 million subscribers. It is anticipated
that expansion purchase orders for both phases will be delivered
during the 2008 financial year.

Under the terms of the contract, Synchronica will provide software
upgrades and customisation of the mobile email solution, SimpleMail, a
product acquired with the recent purchase of Axis Mobile Ltd.

Carsten Brinkschulte, CEO of Synchronica, commented, "This is an
immediate endorsement of our acquisition strategy. Last year we
identified the market potential of Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe,
where we see the next phase of growth for mobile email. The
acquisition of Axis Mobile Ltd, which complements our own product and
our customer base within the Middle East and Asia, was the natural
result of this thinking. We are very excited to see commercial growth
with the largest operator in the area."
