REG-Strontium PLC: Grant of Options

STRONTIUM PLC                                 

                               GRANT OF OPTIONS                                

The board of Strontium Plc (the "Company") announce that, on 2 November 2009,
it granted options over 100,000 shares (representing approximately 0.7 per cent
of the issued share capital of the Company) to Colin Brompton, a director of
the Company under the Company's unapproved share option scheme, as set out in
the table below:-

* The options will lapse upon a participant ceasing to: (i) be a director
within the Company's group; or (ii) be an employee within the Company's group,
at anytime prior to 1 December 2010. There are no performance conditions
attached to these options.

The closing mid-market price of the Company's shares on 2 November 2009, being
the business day prior to the date of grant was 15.5 pence.

The issued share capital of the Company comprises 13,369,688 ordinary shares of
2 pence each.
