MACQUARIE KOREA INFRASTRUCTURE FUND
RECORD DATE AND ESTIMATED 2nd HALF DISTRIBUTION
14 December 2007. Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund ("MKIF") today announced
that a distribution record date of 31 December, 2007 ("Record Date") has been
set in accordance with the MKIF Articles of Incorporation to identify holders
of its ordinary shares for the purposes of a planned 2nd half distribution
payment of 2007. The MKIF share register will be closed for 15 days from 1
January 2008 to 15 January 2008 to facilitate identification of MKIF
shareholders as at the Record Date.
In addition, under the Listing Rules of the Korea Exchange ("KRX"), listed
investment companies such as MKIF are required to announce an estimate of the
amount of the proposed 2nd half distribution of 2007. In order to comply with
the requirements of the KRX Listing Rules, MKIF advises that the estimated
amount of the 2nd half distribution of 2007 will be KRW 220 per share,
consistent with the distribution guidance for the 2007 year previously provided
by MKIF. MKIF notes that the amount of the distribution to be declared is
subject to the approval of the MKIF Board of Directors.
MKIF notes further that, in accordance with the KRX Listing Rules applicable to
listed investment companies, the KRX will reset the MKIF share price prior to
the commencement of trading on 27 December 2007 to reflect this estimated 2nd
half distribution amount.
