WHAT

Imagine dozens of riders on stationary bikes surrounded by lights, music and
large projection screens inside the Avalon Hollywood nightclub. Southern
California`s most sought-after cycling instructors take turns on stage, working
with the lights and music to guide the participants on an exhilarating,
energizing virtual journey through lush rainforests, misty mountains, deserted
beaches, city lights. 

The mind-bending-and body-challenging-event features six cycling sessions with
acclaimed instructors from Los Angeles and Orange counties: Cindy Bell, Pedal
Spin Studio, Montrose; Brandon Hament, The Cycle Annex, South Pasadena; Alan
Harvey and Jeri Garcia, Bike2theBeat, Newport Beach; Skip Jennings, Schwinn
master instructor; and Reilly Smith, Equinox, West Hollywood and Kinetic
Cycling, Brentwood. 

Tickets are $30 a session and can be purchased at www.ridetheevent.com. A
portion of the net proceeds will benefit Olive Crest,the nonprofit organization
serving abused and neglected children.
