Vancouver Event Raises Funds for Cancer Research
OSHKOSH, Wis.--(Business Wire)--
When kayakers gather in Vancouver B.C.'s English Bay on Sunday,
Aug. 17 for Kayak for a Cure(TM) III, they will find themselves
floating among a sea of other paddlers.

The 2008 event has attracted more than three times the number of
paddlers who participated in the 2006 inaugural event. At the same
time, donations have grown from just $1,100 in 2006 to more than
$40,000.

In addition to the Vancouver, B.C. charity paddle, Kayak for a
Cure(TM) has grown to include events in Victoria, B.C., and Columbus,
Ohio. Funds raised in Vancouver and Victoria benefit the Canadian
Cancer Society. Funds raised in Columbus benefit the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society.

Among those paddling again in this year's event: 4imprint Senior
Account Manager John Van Den Brandt, and his wife, Jean.

"I'm excited to come back and be part of the team again this year
and see how it has grown," John Van Den Brandt said. "It's really fun
to join a group of like-minded people who have the same love for
kayaking and an interest in furthering a very good cause."

For the second year in a row, Kayak for a Cure(TM) participants
will receive promotional gear donated by 4imprint: moisture-wicking
long-sleeve T-shirts, bandana caps, temporary tattoos, floating
key-chains and waterproof tote bags.

"4imprint stepped up and really built our brand with us,
hand-in-hand," said Mark Starkey, Kayak for a Cure(TM) Executive
Director/Founder. "4imprint has hit such a home run for our
organization that our participants actually get equally as excited
about the promotional products from 4imprint as they do about the
actual event."
