Wachovia Announces Earnings Release Date Change; 1st Quarter 2008 Earnings
Will Be Released April 14

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wachovia announced
today that it will release its first quarter 2008 earnings results on Monday,
April 14, 2008. Wachovia CEO Ken Thompson and CFO Tom Wurtz will review
Wachovia's first quarter results via teleconference and live audio webcast
beginning at 8 a.m. EDT.  The earnings release and additional materials will
be available on the Internet at wachovia.com/investor no later than 6 a.m.
EDT.
