SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
This week on the California Lottery's Big Spin show four
contestants won a total of $230,000. The show aired statewide
Saturday, May 17, 2008. The grand total won this week was $252,500!
This week's top winner tried his luck at the Fantasy Five Dream
Machine and went home $90,000 wealthier. Tim Busk, a painter from
Auburn, hopes to pay for his daughter's college tuition with his prize
money. He also wants to travel to Guatemala to help an orphanage that
he supports through his church. Another winner who also played Fantasy
Five was Kevin White from San Bernardino. White won $55,000, which he
will give to his wife and hopes she uses part of it for a nice
vacation. The last Fantasy 5 contestant was Isabel Arias, a
maintenance supervisor from Montebello, who took his chance at the
Dream Machine and went home with $10,000. He plans to invest his
winnings.
Lynda Lopez, an accountant from Hercules was the contestant who
outplayed nine others in Aces High. She won $75,000 and plans to give
some of the prize money to her parents. She also hopes to take a
vacation to Hawaii.
