UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits Awarded State of Connecticut Dental Contract Renewal

Prenatal Dental Care, Consumer MaxMultiplier Are Key Features of
                         Extended Relationship
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.--(Business Wire)--
UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits announced today it has been
awarded a three-year renewal of its dental contract serving 150,000
State of Connecticut employees, retirees and their families.

"Under our renewed relationship, the State of Connecticut
continues to provide employees, retirees and their families with
access to high quality dental plans and wellness programs that are
affordable and easy to use," said Al Bowles, chief marketing officer
of UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits.

Two UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits solutions were of
particular interest to the State of Connecticut:

-- Prenatal Dental Care provides additional preventive care
coverage for expectant mothers in their second and third
trimester of pregnancy. A mother's healthy teeth and gums
during pregnancy have been clinically proven to contribute to
        her child's overall good health.

-- The Consumer MaxMultiplier increases the amount of overall
coverage an individual has and can carry over from one year to
the next, in return for obtaining preventive and diagnostic
dental care. This carryover feature is especially helpful for
people who know they will incur higher dental expenses in the
        future.

In addition to the renewal for dental benefits, UnitedHealthcare
Medical/Oxford, a sister company of UnitedHealthcare Specialty
Benefits, will continue to offer medical coverage as an option for
employees and retirees through July 31, 2011.
