Bears sign tackle Harris to contract extension

CHICAGO (Reuters) - The Chicago Bears signed defensive tackle Tommie Harris to a four-year contract extension on Thursday, securing him through 2012.

Sports

The deal is worth approximately $40 million, including $18 million in guarantees and $27 over three years.

Harris, 25, is a three-times Pro Bowler.
