By 0915 GMT, the main index had slid 2.03 percent to 695.63, reversing from Tuesday's 3 percent rise, which had been attributed to optimism over the verdict, announced much earlier than expected.
Wednesday's fall was led by losses in energy giant PTT PTT.BK, which lost 3.8 percent, and Siam Cement (SCC.BK), which slumped 5.5 percent. PTT Chemical PTTC.BK lost 5.6 percent.
