German union threatens post strike if no offer Weds
DUESSELDORF, Germany, April 7 (Reuters) - German union Verdi said on Monday it expected Deutsche Post (DPWGn.DE) to make a negotiable offer on conditions for workers on Wednesday and threatened unlimited strikes if that did not happen.
"Whether we can sit down at the table again on Wednesday will depend on the offer," Andrea Kocsis said in an interview with Reuters, adding unlimited strikes could follow if that did not happen.
Verdi has been staging warning strikes over its dispute with the company over working hours and job guarantees. (Reporting by Matthias Inverardi)
