Protester fires shots at police lines in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Oct 7 (Reuters) - An anti-government protester fired around a dozen shots from a handgun at a line of riot police near the parliament building in central Bangkok on Tuesday, a Reuters photographer at the scene said.

Police scattered when the shots were fired, the photographer said. It was not immediately clear if anybody had been hit. (Reporting by Adrees Latif; Writing by Ed Cropley; Editing by Alan Raybould)
