BANGKOK, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Thai stocks were expected to
open higher on Wednesday after a rally on Wall Street and amid
expectations for interest rate cuts by central banks worldwide.
"The strong rises in U.S. and Asian stocks are likely to
support Thai stock market sentiment. Buying momentum should
continue in underperforming big-caps," Broker Thanachart
Securities said in a research note.
The main index could reach 410-415 points later in the
session, broker Kim Eng Securities said.
The benchmark SET index .SETI closed 2.74 percent higher
at 398.04 on Tuesday, breaking a 3-day losing streak.
