Thai PTT to sell 10 bln baht bonds next month
BANGKOK, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Thailand's top energy firm, PTT PCL PTT.BK, plans to sell bonds worth up to 10 billion baht ($295 million) in tranches in October, underwriters said on Friday.
The unsecured bonds, rated "AAA" by Thailand's Fitch Rating, would have long-term maturities and be offered to both institutional investors and the public, they said.
"The bonds would divide into tranches, of which one should have a 5-year maturity. But we haven't decided the maturities of other tranches," one of the officials said.
In the secondary market, benchmark five-year government bonds were yielding 4.42 percent at 0326 GMT.
Bangkok Bank BBL.BK, Siam Commercial Bank SCB.BK, Krung Thai Bank KTB.BK and Kasikornbank KBAN.BK are the issue's underwriters.
At 0329 GMT, PTT shares were down 1.68 percent at 234 baht, while the overall Thai stock market was 0.98 percent lower. ($1=33.94 Baht) (Reporting by Arada Therdthammakun; Editing by Ed Cropley)
