Indian shares fall more than 1 pct on day
MUMBAI, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Indian shares fell more than 1 percent in morning trade on Monday after opening flat, led down by index heavyweights Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) and ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO).
At 10:22 a.m. (0452 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 1.09 percent, or 217.84 points, at 19,812.99, with 23 components falling.
The 50-issue NSE index was down 1.68 percent at 5,946.40. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
