India's Aditya Birla Nuvo says to raise $1.1 bln

MUMBAI, Jan 9 (Reuters) - India's Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd (ABRL.BO) said on Wednesday it planned to raise about 42 billion rupees ($1.1 billion) through an issue of 20.5 million warrants on a preferential basis to its owners.
