Indian shares hit another record high
MUMBAI, Jan 10 (Reuters) - India's main stock index rose more than 1 percent in opening deals on Thursday to its fifth straight record high, led by ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO) and Larsen & Toubro (LART.BO).
At 9:58 a.m. (0428 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 0.95 percent, or 197.33 points, at 21,067.11, having risen as far as 21,132.97.
The 50-issue NSE index was up 0.52 percent at 6,304.90. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
