India's Dish TV Jan-March net loss $26.8 mln

MUMBAI, June 18 (Reuters) - Dish TV India Ltd (DSTV.BO), India's top private direct-to-home satellite operator, on Wednesday posted a net loss of 1.15 billion rupees ($26.8 million) for the quarter ended March on gross operating revenue of 1.36 billion rupees.

Comparable figures for the year ago period were not immediately available.

The board also approved raising 11.4 billion rupees through a rights issue. ($1 = 42.9 rupees) (Reporting by Jasudha Kirpalani; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
