India not considering Air India IPO as of now

NEW DELHI, Aug 20 (Reuters) - India is not considering a public float of state-run firms Air India [AI.UL] and Pawan Hans Helicopters as of now, the civil aviation secretary said on Wednesday.

"The ministry is not actively looking at it," Ashok Chawla, the top official in India's civil aviation ministry, told reporters on the sidelines of a conference. (Reporting by Rakesh Sharma, Editing by Mark Williams)
