Jonathan Tisch launches media ventures company

(Reuters) - Walnut Hill Media LLC, which plans to invest in media ventures, announced its launch on Monday -- co-founded by Jonathan Tisch, Chief Executive of Loews Corp's Loews Hotels and Jeffrey Stewart.

Walnut Hill Media said it would act as a catalyst investor for selectively evaluated media deals.

In addition to making strategic investments, the company will participate in the creation, production, distribution and other utilization of film, television, online, and other visual and audio content.
