Sea Launch files for Chapter 11 protection

June 23 (Reuters) - Sea Launch Co and 5 of its affiliates filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, court documents show.

In a filing on Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the company listed assets of up to $500 million and liabilities of more than $1 billion. (Reporting by Ajay Kamalakaran in Bangalore; Editing by Jan Dahinten)
