May 28 (Reuters) - Mobile phone service provider Leap Wireless International Inc (LEAP.O) increased the size of its public offering to 7 million common shares.
Leap's shares were down 6 percent in pre-market trade on Thursday.
The company said it planned to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the expansion of its network footprint and acquisitions of additional spectrum or businesses.
On Wednesday, the company had said it planned to sell 6.1 million shares of its common stock. [ID:nN27282208]
