Nuance did not disclose the terms of the deal with Seattle-based Jott, whose services allow users to create notes, set reminders, send emails and text messages from any device -- by converting voice to text.

Jott's services include Jott Assistant, Jott Voicemail and Jott for Salesforce.

Nuance said it plans to package and offer Jott Assistant to mobile operators as part of its voice services portfolio, including its voicemail-to-text service.

All Jott services will remain available and existing customers will experience no interruptions in service, Nuance said in a statement. (Reporting by Sayantani Ghosh in Bangalore; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
