CITIGROUP
Steve Bowman, head of hedge fund services at Citigroup Inc (C.N), is leaving the bank, according to an internal memo obtained by Reuters.
Bowman, a 24-year veteran of Citi and a predecessor firm, helped coordinate prime brokerage businesses and hedge fund activities in the securities and fund services unit.
BLACKROCK
BlackRock hired Sally Gordon, a vice president in commercial mortgage-backed securities at Moody's Investors service. Gordon will join as a managing director in charge of risk management for commercial real estate.
BANK FOR INTERNATIONAL SETTLEMENTS
The head of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Malcolm Knight will resign at the end of September to join Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) as a non-executive vice chairman, BIS said.
Knight, whose term was due to end in June next year, said he would be responsible for issues on regulation, supervision and financial stability at Deutsche Bank.
SINGAPORE EXCHANGE (SGXL.SI)
Singapore Exchange said it appointed Jeremy Ang Peng Leong as chief executive officer of Singapore Commodity Exchange (SICOM), which it is acquiring.
TOSCAFUND
The hedge fund manager appointed Mehmet Dalman as vice chairman and director of Old Oak Holdings, Toscafund's parent company. Dalman is chief executive and founder of WMG Group, a financial services firm specializing in alternative investments.
CREDIT AGRICOLE ASSET MANAGEMENT (CAAM)
Credit Agricole Asset Management appointed Franck du Plessix and Alexandre Schneebeli as head of structured product sales and deputy head of structured product sales, respectively, within the Institutional, Corporate and Distributors International Division.
Plessix was previously the head of sales for structured asset management at SGAM Alternative Investments. Schneebeli was head of the structured product sales team at SGAM Alternative Investments previously.
