Nov 11 (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc (WMT.N) is offering a $100 gift card along with the purchase of a BlackBerry phone for one week, in its ongoing bid to attract more holiday shoppers.
The offer starting at 8 a.m. on Nov. 14 will be applicable to purchases of an assortment of BlackBerry devices, and will have to be coupled with a two-year contract from one of four major wireless carriers, Wal-Mart said.
These carriers are AT&T Inc (T.N), Sprint Nextel Corp (S.N), Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.DE) unit T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, which is a joint venture between Vodafone (VOD.L) and Verizon Communications (VZ.N).
Last week, the world's largest retailer said it will be offering its top 10 pre-order DVD movie titles at just $10 and free home delivery on its entire assortment of DVD and Blu-ray titles. [ID:nN05312236]
