UPDATE 1-Canada's Aecon gets C$125 mln refinery contract
Nov 6 (Reuters) - Canada's biggest publicly traded construction company Aecon Group Inc (ARE.TO) said one of its units received two contracts worth C$125 million ($117.5 million) from Consumers' Co-operative Refineries Ltd to modify existing process units at their Regina refinery.
Aecon Field Services, a division of Aecon Lockerbie Industrial, will undertake the project, which includes mechanical work, fabrication and installation of pipe and other equipment at the refinery.
Work is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2009 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2011, Aecon said.
Shares of the Toronto-based company closed at C$12.09 Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
