NEW YORK, July 9 (Reuters) - The following financial services industry appointments were announced on Wednesday. To inform us of other job changes, please e-mail moves@thomsonreuters.com.

DELOITTE FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES LLO

The advisory services firm named William J. Fasel as director in its Chicago-based reorganization services group. Previously, Fasel was a managing director at several turnaround consulting firms.

AXA EQUITABLE LIFE INSURANCE CO

The primary U.S. life insurance and savings unit of AXA Group (AXAF.PA) named Chris Winans to the newly created post of head of external affairs, effective July 29 subject to board approval. Prior to his appointment, Winans was vice president of media relations at insurance company American International Group Inc (AIG.N).

TIAA-CREF

The pension fund giant announced the appointment of Bertram Scott as executive vice president and chief institutional development and sales officer. He joined TIAA-CREF in 2000 and most recently was executive vice president of strategy, integration and policy.

MERRILL LYNCH MER.N

The investment bank appointed Hugh Sullivan as head of investment banking for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in addition to his existing responsibilities as global head of Multi Industries. He will be based in Frankfurt and London.

STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (STAN.L)

The British bank announced the appointment of Richard Holmes as chief executive officer, Europe. Holmes was previously chairman and chief executive officer of American Express Bank Ltd, which was acquired by Standard Chartered earlier this year.

HSBC Global Banking and Markets (HSBA.L)

The global bank announced the appointment of Hitendra Dave as head of Global Markets, India effectively immediately. He will be responsible for the growth of Sales and Trading, Balance Sheet Management and the debt financing businesses in India.

Prior to his current position, he was co-head of Global Markets, India with Anand Krishnamurthy, who is now appointed as co-head of Global Markets, Middle East and North Africa.

The bank also confirmed the appointment of Simon Jukes as the new CEO of its Greek operations.

SWISS FINANCIAL SERVICES AG (SFMS)

Thomas Zeeb has been appointed as head of the Securities Services division as of Oct. 1. He was previously the executive director of Client Relations at Clearstream Banking S.A. in London and Luxembourg.

Jurg Spillmann, previously the head of the Derivatives Markets division, will become vice chief executive officer of Eurex and will concentrate solely on integrating the IT platforms of Eurex and International Securities Exchange (ISE), a subsidiary SFMS acquired in May 2007.

EURAZEO

The European investment company has appointed Luis Marini-Portugal to its executive board effective July 15. He joined Eurazeo's investment team in 1999 and participated in the structuring and oversight of the investments in Eutelsat, Rexel and Terreal. Before this, he spent six years at JP Morgan (JPM.N) in London.

LASALLE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

The fund manager announced that it is to establish a Special Situations team for the UK and Continental Europe. The new team is made up of Amy Aznar who will lead LaSalle's efforts in strategic entity-level investing, large transactions and joint ventures across the United Kingdom and Europe. Aznar will be based in the London office and starts in September 2008.

ALLIANCE & LEICESTER PLC ALLL.L

The British bank announced the appointment of Alan Gillespie to take over as its chairman. Gillespie was previously with Ulster Bank, will take up his new post in September. He has extensive experience in retail, commercial and investment banking. [ID:nL09203333]

ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO)

Two senior officials at India's largest private bank's investment banking and primary dealership units have resigned, sources familiar with the details said.

R.S. Krishnan, who was vice president of investment banking at ICICI Securities, is joining BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA) as head of corporate finance in Mumbai.

Arvind Sampath, senior vice-president at ICICI Securities Primary Dealership Ltd, has joined Standard Chartered Bank (STAN.L) on its bond trading desk in Mumbai, another source said. [ID:nBOM61755] (Compiled by Phil Wahba in New York and Kuganandhan Paramanandan in Bangalore)
