ITT wins US Army base operations contract in Qatar

June 25 (Reuters) - Defense contractor ITT Corp. (ITT.N) said it has been awarded a base operations services/base operations security services contract for the U.S. Army in Qatar.

The award is for one year with four option years and is worth up to $239 million if all the options are exercised, the company said in a statement.

The contract covers logistics, emergency and fire services, force protection, postal service, public works, transportation, and other support for the U.S. central command forces at Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar, it added. (Reporting by Bhaswati Mukhopadhyay in Bangalore)
