The deal closed quietly just before Christmas and was disclosed by the companies on Sunday, the paper said. Relativity Media and Universal could not be reached immediately for comment by Reuters. Rogue had success in distributing films like "The Strangers," a thriller that had $52.6 million in domestic ticket sales last year, and "Balls of Fury," an action comedy that took in $32.9 million at the box office in 2007, the paper said.
