** General Motors [GM.UL] and the German trust overseeing stricken carmaker Opel seemed set on Tuesday to move ahead with a sale to Canadian group Magna (MGa.TO) rather than let EU doubts halt the deal. [ID:nLK591122]

** Oil refiner Holly Corp (HOC.N) said it agreed to buy Sinclair Oil Corp's refinery in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for $128.5 million in a cash-and-stock deal. [ID:nBNG546084]
