Regulatory News

March 21 (Reuters) - ProQuest Co. PQE.N said the New York Stock Exchange expects to suspend trading in the company's shares before the opening of trading on March 28 for noncompliance.

In a statement, the education publisher said the NYSE is suspending trading because it will not be able to file its annual report for fiscal 2005 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by April 2.

The company's shares are expected to be quoted on the Pink Sheets, effective with the opening of business on March 28.

ProQuest said it now expects to file its 2005 10-K including its restated financial statements in the second quarter of 2007. (Reporting by Neetha Mahadevan in Bangalore)
