Wockhardt, Orchid get US nod for terbinafine HCL

MUMBAI, July 4 (Reuters) - Wockhardt Ltd. (WCKH.BO) and Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (ORCD.BO) have got U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for their terbinafine hydrochloride tablets, the FDA Web site showed on Wednesday.

Terbinafine is the generic equivalent of Novartis' (NOVN.VX) anti-fungal brand Lamisil.
