Reliance Energy board OKs raising $1.3 bln abroad

MUMBAI, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Indian power producer Reliance Energy Ltd RLEN.BO said on Friday its board had approved raising up to 50 billion rupees ($1.3 billion) by way of foreign currency convertible bonds overseas.
