Gazprom tells EU supply unaffected by Ukraine row
BRUSSELS, March 3 (Reuters) - Gazprom (GAZP.MM) has told the European Commission that gas supplies to the European Union will not be affected by the Russian gas export monopoly's row with Ukraine, a Commission spokesman said on Monday.
Gazprom reduced supplies to Ukraine by a quarter on Monday in a dispute over payment.
"Gazprom have assured the Commission gas supplies to the European Union won't be affected," the spokesman told a regular briefing.
