Juncker says ECB rate cut was "good decision"
LUXEMBOURG, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Eurogroup Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker said the European Central Bank had made a good decision in cutting interest rates by a record 75 basis points to 2.50 percent on Thursday.
"The decision taken by the ECB is good. The ECB is delivering an excellent job," Juncker told a joint news conference with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso in Luxembourg.
Asked whether he saw any risk of deflation in the 15-country euro zone, Juncker said: "I don't think so." (Reporting by Marcin Grajewski, editing by Dale Hudson)
