Magyar Telekom says no reason to overhaul strategy
BUDAPEST, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Magyar Telekom MTEL.BU sees lower domestic demand due to a looming recession as a key threat during 2009, but there is no reason for a dramatic change in strategy, its chief executive said on Wednesday.
"The decline in demand is a realistic threat next year," Magyar Telekom Chairman and Chief Executive Christopher Mattheisen told a business conference. "In terms of revenues, a decline in new orders for could be a threat."
He said the company continuously eyed expansion opportunities. (Reporting by Gergely Szakacs; Editing by David Holmes)
