 SANOFI SEEKS TO EXTEND OFFER FOR ZENTIVA: Sanofi-Aventis
(SASY.PA) has asked the Czech central bank (CNB) to allow an

ZNTVsp.PR even though the Czech company's management has
rejected the bid.

 BOARD MEMBER ON CROWN: The Czech central bank reacts to the
development of the crown exchange rate only to such a degree to
which exchange rate shocks influence meeting the bank's
inflation target, board member Vladimir Tomsik said. It is
impossible to react to exchange rate fluctuations by
automatically raising or cutting rates, he added.
