India's PNB expects 18-20 pct profit growth '07/08

NEW DELHI, Jan 4 (Reuters) - India's state-run Punjab National Bank (PNBK.BO) expects net profit to expand between 18-20 percent in the fiscal year ending March 2008, its chief said on Friday.

"There may 18-20 percent growth in net profit this fiscal," the bank's chairman, K.C. Chakrabarty, told Reuters. (Reporting by Rajkumar Ray, Editing by Mark Williams)
