Petrovietnam Drilling projects 2008 net up 22.4 pct

HANOI, March 31 (Reuters) - Petrovietnam oil rig firm PV Drilling PVD.HM, Vietnam's sixth-largest listed firm, has projected its net profit will rise 22.4 percent to 700 billion dong ($43.9 million) this year, a company report said.

The Ho Chi Minh City-based company also projected its revenues this year would rise 9.5 percent to 3 trillion dong, the company report, released to shareholders at the weekend and seen by Reuters on Monday, said. ($1=15,960 dong) (Reporting by Ho Binh Minh)
