THOI BAO KINH TE VIETNAM
-- My Xuyen Rural Bank has won approval from the State Securities Commission to sell shares to the public.
DAU TU CHUNG KHOAN
-- Petroleum Technical Services Joint Stock Co, PTSC PVS.HN, said it made a gross profit of 119 billion dong ($6.7 million) during the January-April period, or 30 percent of its full year target. The firm projected this year's revenue would reach 9.5 trillion dong.
-- Partly private bank SeABank forecast its gross profit this year would be 646 billion dong ($36 million) and it would raise its capital base by 25 percent to 5.07 trillion dong.

-- The number of dengue fever cases in Vietnam jumped 28 percent in the first four months of 2009 compared to the same period last year to 13,000, health officials said.
