HK stocks up despite weak Wall St; PetroChina up

 HONG KONG, April 23 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks edged up
0.25 percent on Wednesday despite overnight losses on Wall
Street, helped by gains in oil firm PetroChina (0857.HK) and coal
miner China Shenhua (1088.HK).
 The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened up 61.34 percent at
25,000.49 on Tuesday.
 The China Enterprises Index of Hong Kong-listed mainland
companies, or H shares, rose 0.26 percent to 13,454.93 at 0205
GMT.
