HK stocks fall more than 3 pct on U.S. worries
HONG KONG, May 22 (Reuters) - Hong Kong stocks slid 3.43 percent to a one-month low on Thursday, as mounting worries over the health of the U.S. economy rattled investors and record high oil prices hit shipping and aviation firms.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI dropped to a low of 24,700.49 after it opened down 1.87 percent. The China Enterprises Index of Hong Kong-listed companies .HSCE, or H shares, had fallen 3.27 percent by 0255 GMT. (Reporting by Alison Leung; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
