HK shares open flat on interest rate worries
HONG KONG, June 24 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will open 0.08 percent lower on Tuesday as investors assume a cautious stance ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve meeting tonight and on expectations of another interest rate hike in China.
Cathay Pacific Airways (0293.HK) fell 2.1 percent as international crude oil prices continued to rally after a supply disruption in Nigeria.
The Hang Seng Index .HSI opened 17.70 points lower at 22,697.26.
