HK shares extend rally, open up 0.8 pct

HONG KONG, July 31 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will open 0.8 percent higher, buoyed by gains on Wall Street following encouraging jobs data and the central bank's attempts at boosting liquidity in the financial markets.

China

Offshore oil producer CNOOC (0883.HK) is set to open 3.2 percent higher after the sudden 4 percent snap back in crude oil prices.

The Hang Seng Index .HSI will open 188.16 points higher at 22,878.76.

The China Enterprises Index of top locally-listed mainland stock is set to open up 0.8 percent.
