HK shares open down 1 pct, dropping for 3rd session
HONG KONG, June 17 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will start 1 percent lower on Wednesday, falling for a third straight day, as disappointing U.S. data had investors doubting an early recovery in the world's largest economy.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI was set to open 180.67 points lower at 17,984.83.
The China Enterprises Index .HSCE of top mainland companies was set to start down 1.3 percent at 10,580.24.
