China's Jiangxi Copper, Daye agree 2008 fees with BHP

HONG KONG, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Jiangxi Copper Co Ltd (0358.HK) <600362.SS, China's top integrated copper producer, and Daye Nonferrous, the fifth-largest, have agreed fees for processing copper concentrates from global miner BHP Billition Plc/Ltd (BHP.AX) (BLT.L) for 2008, a trade source familiar with the talks said on Friday.

The fees were $47.2 a tonne and 4.72 cents a pound, down 21 percent from this year. (Reporting by Polly Yam; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
